RTLS Project Manager

Job Summary: 

N-ovation Technology Group is seeking a seasoned RTLS (Real Time Location System) Project Manager.  The Project Manager will be overseeing the upgrading and maintaining the existing RTLS tracking solution. This includes software maintenance and monitoring, operation support and system administration. The RTLS Project Manager will assess the RTLS infrastructure to determine its capability to support the upgraded asset tracking solution and recommend any required system upgrade, modifications, or replacements to ensure the optimal operation and support of the upgraded RTLS asset tracking solution.  **Please note - this is not a current position. This position is part of a proposal, contingent upon award to N-ovation Technology Group**

Job Duties:

Provide integration services to connect the existing RTLS active asset tracking technologies to Maximo Asset Management Software.

Implement an Agile project management methodology, which shall include breaking the project execution into Product Builds.
Develop and collaborate a Build Plan with the project team prior to beginning the build.
Deliver a Contractor Project Management Plan (CPMP) which demonstrates approach, timeline, governance plans for controlling policies and procedures.
Provide weekly progress reports that cover work completed, work planned, any problems identified, how the problems were resolved and the timeframe of the resolution.
Perform transition activities to transition business and technical domain knowledge of the existing RTLS infrastructure, and complete a Transition Project Plan detailing all activities specific to ensure seamless transition of the required maintenance.

 

 

Skills / Qualifications:

Strong Project Management skills, including developing statements of work, requirements gathering & analysis, implementation plan & timeliness, and coordinating multiple teams.
Prefer 8+ years of Healthcare IT experience.

Ability to multi-task and invest in ramping up new projects.
Ability to work independently with little supervision, good judgement.
Solution-oriented, ability to proactively identify & synthesize problems where necessary and formulate innovative solutions.
Strong inter-personal and vendor management skills.

Education / Experience:

Minimum 8 years’ professional experience with IT/software/hardware implementation projects
Bachelor’s Degree or suitable professional qualification
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
US citizenship is mandatory
Must possess or be able to obtain a security clearance
